About the role

Leafy Code International (Pvt) Ltd builds software for clients around the world. We're looking for a Project Manager & QA Engineer who can own delivery end to end — not just take a client's wish list and tick boxes, but understand what our developers can realistically build, keep everyone in sync, and protect the quality of what we ship.

You'll sit between our clients and our development team. That means turning fuzzy client requests into a clear plan, knowing when to push back, spotting problems before the client does, and testing the product yourself so nothing broken reaches them.

This role suits someone self-managed. Nobody will hand you a daily checklist — you set the rhythm, run the standups, and keep the work moving.

What you'll do:

  • Talk to clients directly (calls, email, chat) and keep them confident and informed
  • Break client goals into work the dev team can actually deliver, on a realistic timeline
  • Run day-to-day coordination: standups, priorities, unblocking people
  • Balance what the client wants against what the team can do, and manage both sides honestly
  • QA the product before it ships — test flows, catch bugs, write clear reports
  • Own the delivery: if it slips, you see it coming and you handle it

Requirements

Must have:

  • Fluent English, written and spoken — you'll work with foreign clients every day. This is non-negotiable.
  • Real experience running projects or coordinating a team (not your first rodeo)
  • Able to work independently and manage your own time — self-driven, not waiting to be told
  • Comfortable talking to developers about what's feasible, and to clients about what's realistic
  • A QA mindset — you notice when something is off and you test before you trust

Nice to have:

  • Experience with software / web projects specifically
  • Familiar with tools like Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Notion, or Linear
  • Have written test cases or bug reports before
  • Basic understanding of how web apps are built (you don't need to code)

Process

  1. We review your application and your short video
  2. A call with us — we'll talk through how you'd handle real client/team situations
  3. A short practical task (plan a small project + spot issues in a sample build)
  4. Final conversation and offer

We usually move within 1–2 weeks.
